Quarry Worker Killed By 3-Ton Limestone Slab

By WISE Web News

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - A Bloomington quarry worker was killed
when a 3-ton piece of limestone fell on him.

Monroe County Chief Deputy Mike Pershing says 47-year-old Tim L.
McCammon of Bloomington died Monday afternoon at Victor Oolitic Stone Co.

Pershing says the 14-foot-long, 6-foot-tall slab became unstable and fell to one side, crushing McCammon. He was pronounced dead at
the scene.

Company officials were not immediately available for comment.
