SIRVA Job Cuts In Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) – Moving company SIRVA is handing out layoff notices here in Fort Wayne.

An employee with the company tells Indiana’s NewsCenter that the company is cutting 6-percent of it's workforce company wide.

The news comes about six months after an expansion of the Fort Wayne facility was announced to become the "operations headquarters" bringing an additional 240-positions.

Company officials have not returned our calls.
