KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The coroner of Kosciusko County and his son have been arrested for drinking and driving.

State police say troopers caught 19-year-old Derek Sadler while he was speeding along US 30 in Whitley County Sunday night.

During the stop, Sadler took a breath test where state police say his blood alcohol content registered at (.17), more than twice the legal limit.

Sadler was then arrested, and his father, 48-year-old Kosciusko County Coroner John Sadler, was called to pick up the vehicle.

When the elder Sadler got there, he was also given a breath test, which police say measured a (.10).

Officials say there was probable cause to test both the Sadlers.

They were jailed in the Whitley County jail overnight on preliminary charges of driving while intoxicated.
