NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Police have taken into custody a man accused of stabbing a woman.

Authorities say 20 year old Christopher Akinyemi surrendered to Aviilla Police around 7 Sunday night.

This was hours after officials say he stabbed a woman during an argument at a home on Swan Road near LaOtto early Sunday morning.

Akinyemi is being held without bond on a preliminary charge of battery with a deadly weapon causing injury.
