WASHINGTON (Indiana's NewsCenter) - One day after Fort Wayne General Motors workers learned they will be laid off for an eleven week period. The federal government comes through with another bailout.
The Treasury Department says it has given GM another $2 billion in federal loans.
The new loan pushes GM's total amount of government aid to $15.4 billion.
GM has until June 1st to complete restructuring plans that satisfy the government's auto task force or file for bankruptcy.
