FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The "Amazing Race" host Phil Keoghan stopped in Fort Wayne this morning during his bike ride across America.

He's riding to encourage people to be active, and to promote awareness about multiple sclerosis.

The trip started a month ago in Los Angeles and will end in New York City in 10-days.

Host of Amazing Race Phil Keoghan says, “I think what's great about going to a smaller community like Fort Wayne is that in the bigger cities, something like this can get swallowed up with everything else that's going on in a big city. When you come to a smaller town, there's more of a close knit community of people who know what's going on.”

Fort Wayne will hold a cycling festival at Parkview Stadium in July.
