44th Annual Three Rivers Festival Kicks Off

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – People will be competing in all kinds of challenges during the 44th annual Three Rivers Festival that kicked off on Friday.

Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry cut the ribbon, and junk food alley was officially opened for the public.

The first concert will be at 6 p.m. It is a Led Zeppelin tribute band under the tent in Headwaters Park.

Over the course of the festival, look for the bed races, kayak races, antiques and art in the park and next Saturday fireworks will close the festival.

Indiana’s NewsCenter will also have a live coverage of the big parade on Saturday.
