(Fort Wayne) - IHSAA commissioner Blake Ress headed up a delegation Friday that toured Fort Wayne facilities and heard the city's pitch to host the 2010 girls state high school basketball finals next March.

All suitable facilities in Indianapolis are not available for the 2010 event.

Ress and his party toured the Memorial Coliseum, Spiece Fieldhouse, and the Holiday Inn at the Coliseum, all venues for the Fort Wayne hosting proposal.

Muncie, West Lafayette, and Bloomington are also interested in hosting.

A decision on a site will be made in late June.
