2008: Record Year For Star Financial Bank

Indiana based Star Financial Bank saw it's best growth and earnings in 2008. While 2009 has been more of a struggle due to issues like FDIC requirements; the bank has done well by focusing on the importance of a successful customer base. Star Bank has been working with best selling author Roxanne Emmerich to help employees have fun in the workplace and encourage them not to participate in the recession. Jim Marcuccilli President & CEO of Star Financial Bank says, “Doing the process over and over again and explaining to people, look, this business is a people business, it's not about loaning money, it's not about taking deposits. It's about making sure the financial welfare of our customers is taken care of.” Star Financial Bank has 46 locations in central and northeast Indiana
