"The Ledge" Opens At Sears Tower

CHICAGO (Indiana's NewsCenter) - You can now get a taste of what it's like to be Superman in Chicago.

The Sears Tower is opening its new attraction, called "the Ledge."

It's several glass balconies that jut out of the tower's 103rd floor to give you a full view of Chicago’s skyline - up, down and all around.

Don't worry, it's completely safe thanks to the three layers of glass, each a half-inch thick, that are designed to hold about 5-tons.
