INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Most highway construction and maintenance
projects across Indiana are being suspended over the July 4 holiday
weekend.

The Indiana Department of Transportation says most projects are on hiatus until sunrise Monday.

Contractors will be required to pull back barrels and barricades when possible to ease traffic flow. Some work that doesn't restrict lanes or impede traffic may continue.

Construction work on the Indiana Toll Road also will be suspended over the July 4 weekend so lane restrictions can be removed.
