Meth Users Caught In Jail Parking Lot

June 18, 2010 Updated Jul 9, 2009 at 11:36 AM EST NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Noble County police didn't have to go far to arrest two suspected meth users; in fact all they had to do was take a walk in the jail's parking lot. Police say they received a tip that a meth lab was operating in a home on Wolf Lake Road. When they went to the home no one was there. A short time later, a vehicle broke down just outside the parking lot of the Noble County Jail inside the car was 28-year-old Catherine Hicks, and her 24-year- old husband Randall. Police say Catherine Hicks was in possession of methamphetamine and was promptly taken to jail. After further investigation police say Catherine told officers that she lived at the home on Wolf Lake Road. Police searched the home and found numerous items made in the manufacturing of meth. The couple faces drug related charges.
