FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - IPFW received an unusual donation from a long time local orthodontist Thursday.

Dr. Don Lahrman donated his collection of seven human skulls to help aid teachers in various departments of medicine and anthropology.

Lahrman began collecting the skulls 35 years ago for use in continuing education courses in surgical orthodontics and for his involvement with Dr. Robert Ricketts and the Foundation for Orthodontic Research.

Lahrman was a dental instructor at IPFW from 1966- 1968.
