Coliseum Midway Cancelled: No Reason Given

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Those of you who look forward riding the tilt-a-whirl and ferris wheel during the 3 Rivers Festival midway are going to be disappointed this year.

The big midway that has been set up in the Coliseum parking lot for decades will not be there this year.

No official reason has been given for its absence and calls to doorway promotions, which handled the midway, were not returned.

The midway was not officially affiliated with the festival, which has its own carnival rides down at Headwaters Park.
