GARY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The reverends Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are among those expected to be at a memorial service for Michael Jackson Friday night in the pop star's hometown of Gary.
During the service a stone tablet will be unveiled.
The 5,000 pound eight foot tall stone tablet was designed and created by a company in Richmond, Indiana, to celebrate the pop star's life.
The monument took 48 hours to complete, from design to finish, and would have cost $25,000, but was donated by the company.
