First Indiana Swine Flu Death

June 18, 2010 Updated Jul 10, 2009 at 4:25 PM EST INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Indiana now has its first death related to the outbreak of the H1N1 flu. The Indiana State Department of Health will only say the deceased was a resident of Dearborn County. 170 people have died from the Swine Flu nationwide. Meanwhile, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius says more than $7.2 million in grants are available to Indiana to help prepare for the H1N1 virus and fall flu season.
