Investigation Leads To Child Molestation Arrest

By WISE Web News

ROCHESTER, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A 47-year-old Rochester man was arrested on child molestation charges Saturday morning following a two-week investigation by Indiana State Police.

Indiana State Police Detective Brian Dormer began investigating Rolland D. Bay, of 4859 Boicourt Drive, two weeks ago when a woman reported that her 12-year-old son had allegedly been molested by Bay.

Police investigations revealed that Bay had purportedly molested the boy several time since 2006, and Bay was taken into custody at his home without incident Saturday.

Bay was served a Fulton Superior Court arrest warrant alleging two class A felony charges and one class C felony charge of child molesting. He is incarcerated in the Fulton Couny Jail this morning with a $100,000 bond.

Master Trooper Randy Shaver and officers from the Fulton County Sheriff's department assisted Detective Dormer in serving the arrest warrant.
