No Backup Plan For Indiana's Welfare System

June 18, 2010 Updated Jul 13, 2009 at 11:39 AM EST INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Indiana has no back-up plan in place if IBM doesn't correct problems with the welfare system it runs for the state. Indiana hired IBM to run a "privatized" welfare system. But it's reportedly had so many problems; state officials may be forced to cancel their 10-year, 1-billion dollar contract with IBM. Officials have asked the company to submit an improvement plan.
