Both IU And Ivy Tech Approve Tuition Hike

June 18, 2010 Updated Jul 16, 2009 at 12:47 PM EST INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Indiana University and Ivy Tech officials approved a tuition hike of more than four-percent. IU's board of trustees voted on increasing "in-state" tuition by 4.6 percent this year and 4.8 percent next year at IU Bloomington and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. The move brings tuition to about $8,600 for most in-state students. Not counting fees or other expenses. Ivy Tech trustees voted to increase tuition by 4.9 percent for the next two years. The rate increase equates to $4.65 more per credit hour than this past school year.
