By Scott Sarvay

June 18, 2010 Updated Jul 16, 2009 at 11:30 AM EST FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A big celebration at the Fort Wayne General Motors Assembly Plant late Thursday morning. Two trucks rolled off the line and were placed on display along I-69. The area hasn't held any trucks, since the plant shut down more than 10-weeks ago. Now that the assembly plant will get a $47 million investment from the automaker, we're told the atmosphere inside the plant is like a celebration, where workers are elated to be back to work and are planning for the next phase of production. Production of the heavy-duty trucks will begin in January.
