NEW HAVEN, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - New Haven is set for a petition drive concerning the renovation of Jury Pool.
Officials with the Allen County Board of Voter Registration say they certified 236-signatures that opponents of New Haven's $4 million plan turned in to trigger a remonstrance.
A notice may be published as early as next week to begin the process, which kicks off with a 30-day "cooling off" period.
The drive to collect petition signatures for and against the renovation project could begin in September.
The plan is awaiting approval by the New Haven City Council.
