Business Owner Upset With Stimulus Act

By Scott Sarvay

June 18, 2010 Updated Aug 10, 2009 at 4:31 PM EST FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A local businessman is upset with the "American Recovery and Reinvestment" stimulus plan and he's placed a sign in front of his company, to show it. Steve Deam, Senior President of "CNC Industries,” placed a sign two-weeks ago that reads "100 percent hard working people here." "Zero stimulus dollars at work here." He says this isn't meant to be a political message. Deam says, “With the big stimulus bill that they passed there’s been a lot of talk about helping the small business person but I haven't seen any of it and most small business owners that I talk to haven't seen it either.” Deam says he will leave the sign up until he finds something in the stimulus plan that will benefit his company.
