$7 Million Defense Contract Goes To Ultra Electronics

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A Columbia City company has landed a sizeable defense contract.

Ultra Electronics a partner with defense contractor Erapsco was awarded a $7 million U.S. Department of Defense contract to produce sonobuoys for the U.S. Navy.

The military says 45 percent of the work will be conducted at the Columbia City facility, with the rest being carried out at an operation in Florida.
