June 18, 2010 FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Managers of the Summit Club in Fort Wayne are still not saying why they closed the high-end restaurant in downtown Fort Wayne. Saturday morning, the doors of the business were locked and employees were told to go home. Club administrators apparently decided Friday night to close the private, members-only club. Managers say the club had bookings into next year, and they're trying to find other venues for those events. The Summit Club operated at the top of the National City Center for about 40 years.
