Wife Sentenced After Guilty Plea Of Fraud

June 18, 2010 Updated Sep 1, 2009 at 10:55 AM EST ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - An Allen County judge sentenced the wife of the former fire chief in Huntertown to a year of probation after a guilty plea to fraud. 38-year-old Kathryn Reid had pleaded guilty to using Huntertown credit cards for her own use. The fraud case was treated as a misdemeanor by the judge, so Reid will not have a felony conviction on her record. Her husband, James Reid, was sentenced in July to home detention and ordered to re-pay $26,000 for two counts of theft.
