June 18, 2010 Updated Sep 25, 2009 at 4:13 PM EST HUNTINGTON, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The hallways of Huntington North High School were being watched more closely Friday by police officers, after someone scrawled a threatening message against the school at a local business. Classes were held under beefed up security. The message left on a business bathroom wall specified trouble would break out on Friday. No incidents occurred, but it caused some tense moments. Huntington Police Chief Tom Emely, says, "You know, it panics everyone, I mean, the parents, people have kids in the schools anywhere, we take that seriously. We want our students to be safe and be there to learn in school and not have to worry about their safety." A student not responsible for the original threat, but who made the situation worse by spreading other false rumors, has been suspended from school for a period of time.
