FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Fort Wayne government buildings and fire stations fly their United States flags at half-mast today.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department officials say flags will fly at half-mast from sunrise to sunset in observance of the Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service held in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

The 107th Congress has also ordered for US flags to be flown at half staff in observance of the memorial today.
