FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Saint Joseph Hospital and Community Action of Northeast Indiana join forces to help area residents apply for state funded health care.
This is the fourth time these organizations have offered people the opportunity to get help with health care issues.
There is no cost to attend.
Burmese and Spanish translators are also on hand to assist.
The health insurance fairs are held every three to four months.
Barbara Schoppman with Community Outreach at St. Joe Hospital says, “Our hope is to beat our 99 applications from last time. And to make sure they are completed. And people seem to have the information they need, so I think working together with community action, St. Joe Marketing, we've been able to get people informed about what they need to bring.”
The next health insurance fair will be at the beginning of next year.
