FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The city of Fort Wayne's Public Information Director, Vince Robinson, is now the subject of an internal investigation; after Indiana’s NewsCenter learned a protective order was served on him earlier this week.

A complaint filed by a woman who claims to be his girlfriend, says she was attacked at her residence on Tuesday by Robinson, that she was thrown to the floor, body slammed and that Robinson threw an iron candle holder at her.

A statement from Mayor Henry's Administration says, "this just came to our attention, and we have begun an internal investigation."

Court records indicate Robinson had domestic battery complaints filed against him on two other occasions by his wife, most recently in 2007.
