INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A store robber in Indianapolis turns himself in one day after his mid-crime-prayer-on-tape was released to the public.
Watch as 23-year-old Gregory Smith gets on his knees as he robs an Advance America check-cashing outlet Monday.
His victim, the woman seated nearby, was crying and trying to talk to smith about god during the ordeal.
The clerk later told police Smith broke down, asked her to pray with him and even took the bullet out of his gun.
Smith then told his victim to go wait in the restroom while he took just $20, and the victim's cell phone, and fled the scene.
