NEW HAVEN, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - It appears the contentious Jury Pool issue has been decided in New Haven.
Tuesday night, the New Haven City Council voted 6-to-1 to approve the Park and Recreation Board to spend a bond worth four million seventy-five thousand dollars.
The money will be used to renovate the existing pool, parking, landscaping, and add a kiddie pool with splash features and two slides. As well as upgrade the bathhouse and add a concessions area.
Signatures collected during a heated remonstrance process shows the supporters are leading the count.
