UNIONDALE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A Uniondale man is dead following a shooting in Wells County Wednesday night.
The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. near the intersection of 800 N. and 100 W. just west of Ossian.
Police say 19-year-old Justin Sprow of Uniondale died after being shot through the windshield of his car. Sprow's passenger, 19-year-old Randy Haney was able to call 911 and report the event. When authorities arrived they found Sprow inside his car, and Haney hiding in a cornfield uninjured.
Police say the shooting was the result of a feud, but would not elaborate.
Police have arrested four young men after questioning them for most of the night.
Formal charges could be filed late Thursday against 18-year-olds Cody Barkley and Jonathan Thatcher, 22-year-old Dustin Jackson and a 17-year-old boy.
The shooting comes one day after another Wells County homicide. On Tuesday, police say 28-year-old Amy Meyer-White was shot by her estranged husband, 27-year-old Tyler White. Police say they have no reason to believe the two cases are connected.
