INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A statewide comedy tour will benefit veterans who've been injured or experienced hardships as a result of their service to the country.

The tour called Operation Comedy is set to debut at the downtown Indianapolis Crackers Comedy Club on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Comedy Central's Scott Henry is headlining the show with appearances by XM Radio's Mike Allen and local comics.

Organizer Jon Stites says the tour will have dates beginning next month in cities including Bloomington, Muncie, West Lafayette and Terre Haute. He says proceeds from the show will go to the Florida-based Wounded Warrior Project.
