Huntington Police Discover Meth Lab, Arrest Property Owner

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A Huntington County man is behind bars after police say they discovered a meth lab on his property.
Police arrested 30-year-old Shawn Prater after they went to his home on 700 north and found items used in the production of methamphetamine.
Police say Prater had been making and using methamphetamine since January of this year.
He has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of precursors.
Four children in the home at the time were removed and remain in the care of the Department of Child Services.
