INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana's human services agency is inviting public input in putting together its new welfare delivery system.

The Family and Social Services Administration says it's accepting suggestions for what it's calling the "hybrid system" of welfare delivery. It will combine face-to-face casework with some of the automation introduced by IBM Corp. Gov. Mitch Daniels fired IBM as the lead contractor on the project last month.

FSSA says it's encouraging anyone who has worked with the caseworker system or the modernized system to write them about their experiences and to make any suggestions. They can by sent by e-mail to hybridinput(at)fssa.in.gov or by regular mail to: ATTN: Hybrid Input, Family and Social Services Administration, 402 W. Washington Street, MS 25, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
