INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Two funds are being created to provide help to judges, lawyers and law students in Indiana with mental health or dependency problems.

About $30,000 from attorneys fees has been used to start one fund that will provide money for treatment if those in the judicial profession can't afford it. The Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program will seek donations from lawyers and law firms to support the fund.

A second fund will be used to support the program through treatment grants, educational outreach and volunteer training.

The funds are being created by the Indiana Supreme Court's Judges and Lawyers Assistance Committee, the Indiana Bar Foundation and the Indiana State Bar Association.
