INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Indiana lawmakers could discuss the property tax issues, when they gather at the Statehouse in Indianapolis this week to prepare for the start of the General Assembly's legislative session.

The traditional Organization Day will be held Tuesday.

It marks the first day new legislation can be filed.

Officials say lawmakers may address the state's declining revenues, which are down $46 million from the forecast amount.

The General Assembly's session begins January 5th.
