Local Doctor Offered Plea Agreement

(Indiana's NewsCenter) - A local doctor could be sentenced to a year of home detention after pleading guilty to sexually battering his housekeeper and holding her captive in February. 50-year-old Ashwani Duggal was offered a plea agreement for a suspended 1.5-year prison sentence with a year to be served on home detention. Duggal is no longer working as a pathologist in Bluffton. The woman has filed a civil suit against him.
