BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Bloomington firefighters say a blaze has left an office building nearly a total loss.
The fire broke out shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Eastplex building near College Mall in Bloomington. The building housed several offices businesses.
Fire Chief Roger Kerr said the building has severe fire damage to the roof and second floor and water damage to the first and second floors.
Kerr says it took firefighters about two hours to bring the fire under control.
No injuries have been reported. Several people who were working inside at the time the fire began were able to safely leave the building.
