UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Just days after new guidelines for mammograms were announced women are now being told they don't have to get as many cervical cancer screenings as they used to.
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists released new guidelines saying women don't need their first cervical cancer screening (pap test) until they're 21-years-old.
And women younger than 30 should be screened every two years, instead of annually.
The American Cancer Society supports the guidelines and says it plans to update and release its new recommendations in late 2011.
