June 18, 2010 Updated Nov 24, 2009 at 6:14 PM EST WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The search for the body of a missing Whitley County woman continued Tuesday afternoon. "Cadaver dogs" and their handlers volunteered to search the area of Goose Lake hoping to find the remains of Debra Houser. She disappeared last Wednesday. Police arrested her ex-husband Rodney Houser on a murder charge. Authorities say he admitted the killing to a friend. Karen Karrer with the St. Joe Township Fire Department says, “We have dogs that are trained with human remains detection and we also have a scent specific man trailer. We were asked for support by the Whitley County Sheriff's Department.” Officials would not confirm if anything of interest was discovered in the search.
