LARWILL, IN (Indiana's NewsCenter)--The search for a missing Whitley County woman continued Wednesday.
Police have been searching for 49-year-old Debra Houser since last Wednesday morning.
Officials focused their search to bodies of water recently sniffed out by cadaver dogs.
The Whitley County Emergency Management Department searched Larwill Lake and two small ponds less than a mile from the Houser’s home on Old Trail Road.
All of the searches were conducted with a special infrared underwater camera and a trained diver.
“We were just doing some spot searches of some the ponds and lakes where we've had some of the cadaver dogs”, said Cathy Broxon-Ball, Director of the Whitley County Emergency Management Department.
All of the searches were unsuccessful.
Authorities used cadaver dogs near Goose Lake Tuesday, believing Houser could be in or near water.
Police say an informant told them Ms. Houser's ex-husband, Rodney Houser admitted to killing her and hiding her body around water.
Rodney Houser is currently being held in jail without bail. Houser’s next court date will be in late December.
