INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Indiana lawmakers are getting a jump-start on their upcoming legislative session.

An Indiana Senate Committee met Tuesday in Indianapolis to discuss unemployment taxes and property tax caps, a legislation that could be voted on next week.

One bill heard Tuesday morning would delay unemployment tax increases on businesses from this January until January 2011.

The Senate Tax and Fiscal Policy Committee also discussed a resolution that could ultimately put caps on property tax bills into the state constitution.
