ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Indiana's NewsCenter has learned that police are currently searching Allen County for the remains of a missing Whitely County woman.
Whitley County detectives and officers from the Department of Natural Resources are using sonar to search Allen County's Lake Everett for the body of 49-year-old Debra Houser.
She disappeared a week before Thanksgiving, and hasn't been seen since.
However, her ex-husband, Rodney Houser, is charged with her murder. Because an informant told police Houser asked him to help dispose of Debra's body.
State Police dive teams have already searched Larwill Lake in Whitley County.
Investigators believe Debra Houser's remains will be found near a body of water.
