FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne - Allen County Christmas Bureau is all set to bring the holidays to local families in need.
More than 450 families were sponsored through the organization this year.
This week, nearly 100 volunteers will help organize and deliver gifts around the area.
All of the sponsors anonymously adopt at least one family.
Bureau board members say their glad to help.
Christmas Bureau President Jane Surbeck says, “You know it's just one of those things. There are a lot of people in this community who need help and we need to do what can do to see they get some help.”
In the past, many families have sent thank you letters, which are forwarded to local sponsors.
