FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A suspect wanted in Fort Wayne's latest homicide is being held at the Allen County Jail for another crime.
20-year-old Andre Washington is being held on a $10,000 bond and preliminarily charged with one count of robbery.
He could be formally charged with a felony by the end of the week.
Washington faces the formal charges in connection with an armed robbery at Advance Auto Parts on Lafayette Street on November 30th.
According to our partner in news, the Journal Gazette, court documents show Washington slashed a "man behind the counter with a knife."
Police are investigating whether Washington may have been involved in a string of armed robberies that happened about the same time.
Fort Wayne Police have also named Washington as a suspect in the homicide of 32-year-old pizza deliveryman Ian Crace.
Crace was killed the day before the robbery at Advance Auto Parts.
Police are questioning Washington about Crace's death but no charges have been filed in that case.
