FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Catholic Church is mourning the death of Haiti's Archbishop Joseph Serge Miot.
Reports indicate the Archbishop's body was found among the rubble of the archdiocese, and may be one of only hundreds of victims trapped in the ruins of church buildings on the island.
A Vatican representative here in Fort Wayne for Bishop Rhoad's installation says the Catholic Church is deeply saddened by the news.
Aposgolic Nuncio Pietro Sambi said, “Surely it is a call for every human being who has a human heart to pray and to help these people to stand again.”
