FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- While today will be quiet, a winter storm will approach the area late tonight. The storm may bring heavy snow, but at least no significant ice is expected. Snow will develop late tonight and continue through Tuesday. Additional problems may occur as winds pick up. travel conditions will be difficult tomorrow through Wednesday. There will be a prolonged period of snow especially near the Indiana lake snow belt. By late Wednesday the storm will move well east, and snow will end. A Winter Storm Warning is in place for the region late tonight into Wednesday.
