INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Friday night's snowfall caused icy road conditions all over the state.
An Indiana State Police Trooper was checking on a vehicle that slid off I-69 at the 65-mile marker, when he was hit by another car.
Trooper Lee Ross was sitting in his cruiser on the side of the road with his emergency lights on when a woman lost control of her vehicle and struck him and his squad car.
Ross suffered minor injuries in the accident, but Indiana State Police remind drivers they must change lanes away from emergency vehicles to avoid incidents like this one.
