INDOT & FW Crews Ready For Heavy Snowfall

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Early predictions from forecasters has give road crews the extra notice needed, so no one will be caught off guard when the Winter Storm Warning produces heavy snowfall.

INDOT and the city of Fort Wayne say crews have been working all day to make sure salt trucks and snow plots are in good snow removal shape.

Officials also say INDOT and the Fort Wayne public works department has budgeted for the neccessary overtime hours to keep commuters safe on Tuesday and Wednesday.

"If (people) have to be out the main thing is slowdown take it easy, take their time and watch out for snow plows aso they have room to operate," Chuck Neuenschwander, the INDOT District Operations Manager.
